Une loi française interdit désormais à la plupart des entreprises et des organisations de contacter les consommateurs sans leur consentement préalable.

Le gouvernement français estime qu’environ trois Français sur quatre recevaient jusqu’à maintenant au moins un appel non sollicité par semaine sur leur téléphone cellulaire.

Au Canada, le Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des télécommunications canadiennes autorise les télévendeurs à contacter les consommateurs qui n’ont pas inscrit leur numéro sur une liste d’exclusion.
